By the way, I understand the northern natives call themselves Inuit in Canada, and apparently it’s a derogatory expression to call them Eskimos there, right? In Alaska they do call themselves Eskimos, but the native term in Iñupiat or Yupik. I believe the Inuit and Iñupiat are the same people, but they call themselves by different terms on each country.

I know from the Throat singers from Tuva and Mongolia – not by the Inuit Throat singers. Really very interesting !!
