About Video #1
This is BBC One’s web exclusive Human Planet series trailer. Human Planet (http://www.bbc.co.uk/humanplanet) is an awe-inspiring, jaw-dropping, heart-stopping landmark series that marvels at mankind’s incredible relationship with nature in the world today.
About Video #2
A montage of clips from the “Ice Worlds” episode of Planet Earth, set to “Glosoli” by Sigur Ros.
These two videos might be enough for a human being to start admiring the Planet and come to understanding of how the Earth is amazing and… fragile…
Sometimes we forget where we live. It’s good to sit in the cafe and drink coffee and enjoy this special moment. It’s funny to read gossips about Charlie Sheen and other celebrities. It’s good to drive highways at high speed and get excited from your freedom…
But… what if we’ll start paying a little attention to our surroundings and thinking, how all this amazingness around us might be ruined just in a few moments? Maybe, some good things will come with it?
Ok. Let’s stop with speeches. Frankly, I am far away from environmental policy things. Just… it would be really pitty to loose such beauty one day. Do you want that? Me not. “Our planet is cool, let’s keep it that way.” (c)
If wonder, what we can do, read Moki Kokori’s message in the previous post.

Heavy snowstorms might paralyze any place in any corner of the world. Russia is not exception. Yesterday’s blizzard caused many troubles in the city of Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk on the Far Eastern Sakhalin island. Car accidents on roads, 2-meter snowdrifts on sidewalks, and kids allowed not to attend classes.

That’s good to be connected via Twitter. Received a message from Canada-based @eyeonthearctic, who informed me about the release of a new documentary of Inuit Contemporary Arts.
Description
Art in the North is changing. While traditional art is still quite popular around the world, Inuit artists are increasingly interested in creating art that reflects today’s reality; visual reflections on social change and climate change. To date, the South has largely ignored “THE NEW RAW” coming from the North. Journalist Eilís Quinn explores what this means, and whether the South may be missing out on something truly historic, and important.

Well, Ice Pilots NTW is back on air! The Season 1 repeats on every Tuesday and Sunday on History Channel. The ancient Goony Bird still works. Besides, in summer 2010, as the official TV Show website IcePilots.com reports, Buffalo’s plane took part in the 75th anniversary celebration of Douglas DC-3 and C-47 aircrafts in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It was the largest gathering of workhorse aircrafts in 60 years.
About Ice Pilots NTW
Renegade Arctic airline Buffalo Airways defies the freezing cold and the competition by using resilient WWII-era propeller planes to fly vital fuel, supplies and passengers to remote outposts all over the Canadian North. Rookie pilots with nerves of steel come from across the country to Yellowknife to receive training from the very best and for the chance to earn their wings flying powerful vintage planes originally built for war. From landing essential cargo onto airstrips at mine sites to carving out runways on frozen lakes and rocky tundra, the Ice Pilots do it all, despite frequent blizzards and breakdowns.
